You may take out cover with us if you normally live any of the countries shown on the quote form "Where do you normally live?". Eligibility requirements are shown here.

How do I add on Baggage cover?
If you need to add on baggage cover, just sign into My TT Policy and click on the Make Changes icon.

How does the 21-day Winter Sports work?
The 21-days can be taken consecutively or non-consecutively, and should you have a claim we will just check your electronic ski pass with the resort management to ensure you haven’t exceeded the 21-day limit. You don't need to tell us when you go skiing.

How do I extend my insurance?
For Single Trip policies, you just need to sign into My TT Policy and click on the green Apply for an Extension Policy link. Multi-Trip policies are valid for one year, so just take out a new one to start the date after your current policy is due to expire.

Can I get a refund if I come home early?
Unfortunately, no. Once the 14-day cooling off period has ended, you have travelled, or have taken out Insurance whilst you are already travelling, no refund of premium is available. You can return home for a visit and recommence your travels without that affecting your travel insurance.

Can I travel against Foreign Office Travel Advice?
If you're travelling to a country where the UK Foreign Office has an "all but essential travel" warning, then your insurance won't be valid for the reason why that warning is there. Normally this is for terrorism. You policy will still be valid for any other sudden unexpected illness or accidents.
If you travel to a country of area where there is a UK Foreign Office "advises aganst all travel" warning, then there is no cover available at all. You can check the status of the country your travelling to by checking the Travel Advice website.
